Side A: Creating a New Language

Side A – Creating A New Language for Play My Tape

This is the first in a series of mixes recorded onto cassette tape – the idea to go back to the days of mixtapes.  Play My Tape asked me for a contribution to their great site so i gave them this – a 45 minute mix put onto one side of a cassette tape. In keeping with the tape aesthetic all tracks are from the era of the tape (the 1970′s-1980′s). Interspersed throughout the mix are radio transmissions and recordings of shortwave number stations.
